Preparing Teachers for Tomorrow: The Final Report (362 KB) is the result of a review of teachers' qualifications that the College conducted to ensure that teachers continue to be well prepared to assist students in their learning.
The College consulted widely with members, provincial education stakeholders and other groups across Ontario.
The recommendations have been forwarded to the Minister of Education and work has begun to incorporate recommendations approved by Council into the teachers’ qualification regulation.
The College is preparing a plan for the development and implementation of the non-regulatory recommendations.
