A province-wide communications initiative, the advertising housed here can be seen and heard in regional outlets across Ontario.

This comprehensive print, radio and online communications program educates the public about who we are, what we do, how we regulate teaching in Ontario and most importantly, how highly qualified teachers are.

All creative products feature our tagline, “Ontario College of Teachers: Setting the Standard for Great Teaching” and have been produced to best suit each medium.

Print: Our print campaign features students from Ontario’s publicly funded schools.  These ads are a play on the alphabet and focus on lesser-known careers such as a mycologist (a biologist who specializes in fungi) to pique a reader’s interest and invite them to learn more about the College. A series of seven ads (four English and three French) have been created, including:

Radio: Similar to the print creative, our 30-second French and English ads also play off the alphabet and focus on lesser-known careers to drive a listener’s curiosity and interest.

Online pre-roll ads: The visual in these ads highlight the role a teacher has in a student’s education while the audio focuses on how the College sets the standard for great teaching.

Digital banners:  Designed to drive traffic to the College’s website, these banner ads reinforce the message of the campaign through the use of visuals and the tag line.

CP24 (English only): This visual was designed to run on CP24’s 24-hour news channel. Visually, the ads are very still and in sharp contrast to all the activity happening on screen. This ad is intended to drive viewers to the College’s website.
